Joyous good cheer is in the air, with every corner of the Greenbrier Valley decked in festive trimmings and seasonal finery. The Greenbrier rolls out the "green" carpet from Thanksgiving through New Year’s with holiday-themed activities, sugar plums, sweet treats and dances under the mistletoe.

Nov 26-30. Thanksgiving at The Greenbrier promises a "punch card" of festive activities and a bounty of fine dining. Dec 23-29. Christmas week is filled with good cheer and good times that you won't want to miss! Get the family together for cookie decorating and scavenger hunts, dinner parties and of course, the Nutcracker Ballet!
Dec 30-Jan 1. Ring in 2026 at "America's Resort!" It's a weekend of entertainment, fine dining and fun. New Year's at The Greenbrier is sure to be a grand time!

#SHOPSMALL. The official #shopsmall shopping day is November 29, but in the Greenbrier Valley, buying local is always in season. Independent shops, restaurants and attractions are ready to solve your gift-giving dilemmas with one-of-a-kind collectibles for the sensibly chic to creative solutions for the person who has everything.

Greenbrier Valley Theatre. Spend an evening this holiday season with Miss Bennett: Christmas at Pemberley. This witty and heartwarming sequel to Pride and Prejudice invites audiences back into the Bennett family’s love life. When an unexpected guest arrives, the Bennett sisters find their hearts and holiday plans upended in the most romantic way. Showing on select dates from November 28 through December 16.
Haunted Ellis Mansion. This isn’t your typical holly, jolly good time, but it does come with cookies and hot chocolate. This haunted holiday happening borders on hair-raising with creepy corridors, walls that whisper and spine-tingling footsteps by those unseen. Every Friday and Saturday night, December 6 through December 21.
DEC 1. Adorned with twinkling lights and festive sights, the Ronceverte Christmas Parade commences at 7pm to ring in the season.
DEC 4. For more jingle bells and Santa's elves, the Lewisburg Christmas Parade makes its way down Washington Street at 7pm.
DEC 5. Gather the family at 6pm and join the holly jolly festivities at Alderson's Annual Grand Illumination and Christmas Parade, complete with a special visit by Santa.
DEC 13. The Rainelle Annual Christmas Parade kicks off at 6 pm, bringing lots of holiday cheer to Main Street.
DEC 13-14. Embrace the holiday spirit at Christmas at The Cedars in Alderson. Explore a twinkling Christmas Village and Kriskindlmarkt filled with lights, live trees, Santa photos, hay rides, bonfires and family fun for all ages.

DEC 5. You won't want to miss the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra in its holiday pops concert, Sounds of the Season, at Carnegie Hall.
DEC 14. A Christmas tradition in the Greenbrier Valley, spend the afternoon listening to the beautifully harmonized melodies of the Greenbrier Valley Chorale.
DEC 15. The West Virginia Jazz Orchestra brings big-band style to Greenbrier Valley Theatre with a concert that’ll have you swingin’ straight into the rest of 2025.
DEC 29 & 30. A beloved holiday story, The Greenbrier plays host to the Beckley Performing Arts and guest ballet artists in a performance of The Nutcracker ballet. Set on the eve of Christmas 1830, this delightful fairytale brings toys to life as a young German girl dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and his battle against an army of mice.
