Your privacy is a high priority to the GCCVB and our vendors, and we're committed to the responsible management of consumer information. Personal Information Collected

GCCVB is the sole owner of the information collected on We do not collect any personally identifiable information about you (name, address, telephone number, email address) unless you provide it voluntarily. If you do not want your personal information collected, please do not submit it online to us.

We only keep personal information for those who want to receive news about the Greenbrier Valley. If you submit personal information through our website, it's stored in SimpleView, a third-party affiliate that maintains our database. Email subscriber information is shared with MailChimp and Act-On, our current email service providers. There are times when your personal information may be stored on local GCCVB networks or in our cloud-based backup. All our storage services take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

By submitting your email, you will receive monthly correspondences from GCCVB with information about the Greenbrier Valley. By providing your mailing address, you will receive periodic collateral from us regarding the same. We promise not to sell, loan, rent, give or barter any part of your personal information to any person or entity not part of the GCCVB.

User-Generated Content Collected

GCCVB uses the Crowdriff platform to collect and display user-generated content on the website. If you upload relevant Greenbrier Valley images to Facebook and/or Instagram, this service may serve them to us for possible use. If we are interested in using a photo you’ve taken in the Greenbrier Valley, we will always request digital and/or print consent. 

Non-personally Identifiable Information Collected

For each visitor to, non-identifiable information is gathered automatically for internal review. The web server recognizes the type of Internet browser used, the computer operating system, the device and user activity on the site. 

We use Google Analytics 4, which does not identify individual users, to analyze our website trends, collect site activity and better understand how users engage with the site (how often users visit the site, what pages they visit, and where they were referred from). How Google uses the data collected through our website can be found within Google’s policy. From there, it's used to improve site experience and administer direct advertising.
