It's time to hit pause to let the day unfold on a backcountry escape through the Greenbrier Valley. Lean back and watch the tranquil countryside drift by. Take in the scenic landscape dotted with dense forests, rolling hay fields and grazing cattle. Drink in the magic elixir of a day spent in good company, communing with nature, uncovering hidden treasures and feasting on culinary delights.
One of three cruise-worthy drives around the valley, this forty-two-mile loop heads north on Route 219 from downtown Lewisburg. It loosely tracks the Greenbrier River before heading east along Anthony Creek and back to the south through White Sulphur Springs.
