WV Glamping Domes

Escape to Luxury…Immersed in nature at WV Glamping Domes. Operated by the well-travelled Luce family with a focus on curating an experience guests will remember for a lifetime. Guests always tell them, “You've thought of everything!"

The 65-acre active farm was once the home of an 1800's waterwheel mill, and before that it was part of the hunting grounds of the Seneca people. Today it features five private glamping domes. Each dome has a unique vibe, but all are equipped with a kitchen (and Keurig), private bathroom, shower, hot tub (except for one with the twin clawfoot soaking tub upgrade) and a smokeless, outdoor fire pit. Two of the most private domes are accessed exclusively by golf carts—which come with your stay.

Your hosts have complimentary kayaks and paddle boards available for paddling in the stream that meanders through the property. Guests also enjoy nature walks on the creekside and meadow trails. E-bikes and a convertible Roadster are also available for rent. There's nothing like driving West Virginia's country roads in an open-wheeled roadster.

Must-Do's

  • Otter-Watching: Resident wild river-otters are fun to see. They typically make an appearance about 3 times a week in the stream.
  • Hunt for dragonstones (Septarian nodules) along the stream. These perfectly round mud bubbles fossilized over 50 million years ago. That's old!
  • Stargazing is a guest favorite, and the Milky Way is clearly visible on a clear moonless night.
  • Fireflies put on a dazzling show during the warmer months (typically May through July is the best time to see them).
  • Paddleboard/Kayak  in the stream (complimentary with a stay).
  • Fall Color: Visible right outside each dome, fall color typically happens late-September through early November.
