Lewisburg Shines on Fodor's Travel List

Lewisburg adds another feather to its proverbial cap—Fodor’s Travel recently featured the very cool town on its “America’s 25 Cutest Main Streets in Small(er) Towns” list. The travel resource highlighted manicured main streets from across the country with dedicated citizens who are driving revitalization and boosting local economies.

The online article highlighted Lewisburg’s preserved historic architecture coupled with its modern-day vibe. Noting that many shops and “innovative eateries” were housed in buildings constructed well before their time. The Historic General Lewis Inn, Stardust Café and Harmony Ridge Gallery were mentioned as popular stops along the main street. 

“To be recognized by this international [travel organization] is incredible,” Sparrow Huffman said. “None of us can exist alone—all contribute to this great product we have.” 

Huffman explained Lewisburg thrives because of all the businesses in the historic district work together. The listing gave the area an opportunity to share with others how unique Lewisburg is. With two of her businesses mentioned, The General Lewis and Stardust Café, she also noted how gratifying it was to see their hard work acknowledged.
