The Riverstead

The Riverstead glamping dome is the ultimate retreat for those wanting to reconnect with nature without sacrificing modern comforts. This custom-designed, 700-square-foot geodesic dome offers an open living space with a modern kitchenette and bathroom, main room and king-size bed, and panoramic views of the outdoors.

The dome was built to share the lifestyle of an organic family homestead while giving guests a chance to slow down to nature’s pace. Vegetables, fruits, flowers, honeybees and chickens are all grown or raised on the farm. Wildlife sightings are common, and in warmer months, the Greenbrier River—mere steps from the dome’s front door—is popular for floating.

With an attached deck and green space leading to the river, guests are encouraged to enjoy the outdoor setting of their home-away-from-home. Fresh homestead-grown food is available for purchase and can be stocked in the dome upon arrival.
