Our Thyme Tavern brings a fresh face to the historic dining room on Washington Street, taking over the former Livery Tavern. The kitchen keeps the from-scratch sensibility but dials back the formality, adding lunch and brunch to its lineup.
Brunch plans? They've got you covered with everything from classic French toast to tomato gravy. Try the Tavern Taters or their Feta Mint Watermelon salad to get the day started right. Midday brings elevated takes on familiar fare, including a pork tenderloin sandwich, falafel wrap and vegetarian bowls, just to name a few.
The covered deck overlooks Washington Street, putting you right above the downtown stroll, and a string of tables tucked down the side patio offer a quieter, more intimate dining spot. Inside, the wrap-around bar makes an easy place to settle in for a drink, whether you're catching up with friends or grabbing a seat before a show.
