Producing the finest West Virginia maple syrup is a labor of love for Brandon Daniels and his family. Tapping trees for the last 25-plus years in Greenbrier County, they currently have 1,500 Sugar Maples “on tap” – some as old as 300 years -- to turn out nearly 500 gallons of organic, all-natural syrup.

Tours of the syrup-making process are available by appointment along with an annual open house planned during “sap-tapping” season.

Also available at Edith’s Healthy & Specialty Store in downtown Lewisburg and Fruits of Labor Cafe & Bakery in Rainelle.

Did you know? Freezing nights and thawing days are needed to get the sap moving. Although it varies by year, it takes about 50 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of pure maple syrup.
