Tucked in a quiet corner of the Monongahela National Forest, Lake Sherwood is a 165-acre mountain oasis revered for its swimming, fishing, kayaking and paddleboarding opportunities. Come equipped with picnic-fixings and wile away the afternoon on the lake’s only island -- connected to the “mainland” by an arched walking bridge.
