Shanghai Parade in Lewisburg

Bundle up and come out to enjoy Lewisburg's annual parade of unknown origins (dating back to 1896!) featuring the wackiest and quirkiest of participants. It's a fun way for the whole family to begin the New Year!

Lineup is at 11am on Lee Street with the parade line setting out at Noon. No pre-registration is necessary, just show up on Lee Street at 11! Participants will be judged on creativity and cash prizes will be available which will be given out in front of City Hall immediately after the parade ends.

And as tradition has it, all who join in the parade walk are given a crisp $2 bill because, well, why not?!
