Christmas at the Fair Drive/Walk-Thru Light Display

Month of December 2025 (Varying Dates TBD)

The State Fair of West Virginia is proud to bring you Christmas at the Fair, a drive and/or walk-through Christmas light show! No cost to enter, but donations are accepted and appreciated. The display will be open in early December. The hours are 5:30-8:30pm and the event happens rain or shine. Please note that some evenings are walk-thru and some are drive-thru so you can be sure to plan a date that suits your preference for viewing. Restrooms will be available at The Agriculture Pavilion and some Fair food vendors are likely to be set up as well! Don't miss it!

When you arrive to DRIVE-THRU, enter the grounds at Gate 5 on 219N, tune into the fair's special radio station 106.9, turn off your headlights and now you're ready to enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas on your drive through the beautifully lit-up fairgrounds! (Once on the grounds, the drive-through time is around 12-15 minutes. But be prepared for a possible in-traffic wait to get onto the grounds.)

When you arrive on WALK-THRU nights, parking is in the FREE PARKING LOT off of 219S.

All proceeds will go toward enhancing next year's event.
