Historic Candlelit Cemetery Tours

October 16, 23, 28, 29 and 30 from 6-9pm

Carnegie Hall in partnership with the Greenbrier Historical Society will offer a guided candlelit tour of sections of the historical cemeteries located in downtown Lewisburg on October 16, 23, 28, 29 and 30 from 6-9pm each night. Participants will learn the fascinating history about the lives...and deaths...of some of the most interesting interred. Tours will be led by the ghoulish docents of the North House who will share spooky legends, lore and interesting facts along the way.

Tours leave from Carnegie Hall and conclude at The North House Museum with a private viewing of the exhibit The Good Death: Mourning Culture in Victorian America.
