June 13 and 14, 2025 (The Main Tour Event is on Saturday, June 14 from 10am-4pm)

There is a rich heritage in the Greenbrier Valley that can be appreciated through its many beautiful and historic sites, buildings, homes and ornate gardens, and you're invited to spend a wonderful day touring the past at the annual Greenbrier Valley Home & History Tour. The 2025 tour will have you visiting beautiful and historic homes and properties in the Frankford and Renick area on Saturday, June 14th from 10am-4pm. There will be 4 inside tour stops, 2 drive-by view spots and 4 points of interest to visit on this year's tour. The tour lineup includes:

  • The Charles Stuart House
  • The Bright-Wilson House
  • Buffalo Ridge House
  • The Frankford Presbyterian Church
  • The Simmons House
  • Downtown Renick and Waterfront
  • The Renick Community Center Photography Exhibit
  • Mountain Table
  • Good Roads Bakery

The historic tour weekend will kick off on Friday, June 13th, when Greenbrier Historical Society will host Dr. Sarah McCartney, Assistant Professor of History at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA -- who will speak at 6pm with a focus on early Greenbrier County settlement history and offer some excellent insight into the areas that will be explored on the tour the following day. After Sarah's address, a light cocktail reception will be held on the North House Museum grounds. (Limit of 100 guests.)

Tickets are available for online purchase now and may be picked up at the Friday June 13 Reception, or at the North House Museum or select tour stops on Saturday June 14.

This event is sponsored by The Greenbrier Historical Society.
