Not only do they float the New River where musky and smallmouth are known to flourish, but they also have access to 1,000 acres of private land and stream sections for some stellar catch-and-release fly fishing. No combat fishing on these mountain waters...just you and your guide!

James Crews, owner of Mountain Water Adventures, is a licensed WV outfitter and certified casting instructor. His team of guides each have over 20 years of experience and are amazing at what they do -- key to a successful day of fishing. 

They offer float trips, group trips and half-day and full day fly fishing options. And if that’s not quite what you’re looking for, give them a call. They create custom adventures as well.

When it comes to the big day, all you really need is a good pair of polarized sunglasses and weather appropriate clothing to keep you comfortable. Your fishing equipment, transportation and lunch (for full-day trips) is included. Instruction and guidance are just part of the day…as much or as little as you want.
