Taste of Our Towns Festival (TOOT)

Since 1984, the second Saturday in October has been reserved for the Taste of Our Towns festival or TOOT which has grown to be one of the largest and best-known festivals in West Virginia. Held on the streets of downtown Lewisburg, local restaurants, shops and civic groups share their favorite delicacies from crab cakes and pot pies to pumpkin fudge and bread pudding. The flavors of the season are more than just tempting, each is a little bite of paradise.

Festivities include more than just a menagerie of foods, the main stage with live music throughout the day will be located at the intersection of Washington and Lafayette streets with a second stage on Carnegie Hall's Ivy Terrace.

TOOT tickets are needed for event food purchases and will be available at ticket booths throughout downtown on the day of the event. Advance tickets can be purchased (beginning in late August or early September) online at carnegiehallwv.org or in person at Carnegie Hall or the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center in downtown Lewisburg (cash or check only at the Visitors Center).

With your attendance, know that you are supporting the arts in Greenbrier Valley, as TOOT is a vital fundraiser for Carnegie Hall.
