Taste of Our Towns Festival (TOOT)

Saturday, October 11, 2025

Hours: 11:00 am to 3:00 pm

Since 1984, the second Saturday in October has been reserved for the Taste of Our Towns festival or TOOT. Held on the streets of downtown Lewisburg, local restaurants, shops and civic groups share their favorite delicacies from shrimp and grits to brisket sliders, pumpkin fudge and fried apple pies. The flavors of the season are more than just tempting, each is a little bite of paradise.

No need to worry about tokens, just be ready with small bills! "Tastings," come in all different sizes with some the portion of a small meal. Prices will range from about $4 to $7.

Enjoying the dine-around isn't the only thing to do. Art exhibits and street entertainers are mixed and mingling throughout downtown. The main stage is hopping with West Virginia Jazz Orchestra, The Thomas Taylor Band, Tessa McCoy and The State Birds. Greenbrier River Optimistic Ukulele Players is taking up a spot on green space at the corner of Rt 219 and Rt 60.

Mark your calendars now and check back for more information and details as TOOT draws closer. Click here for help planning your trip!

With your attendance, know that you are supporting the arts in Greenbrier Valley. TOOT is a vital fundraiser for Carnegie Hall.
