Carnegie Hall Artwalk

Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 5:30pm

Carnegie Hall is proud to bring to you the first retrospective solo art exhibition of Carl Frederick Gaertner (1898-1952) in over twenty years. Gaertner is a nationally recognized painter from Cleveland, OH. This show was carefully curated by his granddaughter Erin Gaertner, a WV resident who partnered with the Hall's Education Director to bring together a show of these never-before-exhibited works, which includes some of Gaertner's Greenbrier Valley art to be displayed in the region for the first time since their creation. Other artists featured in the February 2025 Artwalk will be Newman Jackson and Suzan Morgan.

Future Artwalks are scheduled for March 7, May 9, September 5 and November 7 from 5:30-7pm.  Visitors can immerse themselves in the art displays while enjoying live music, complimentary refreshments and a cash bar.  The shows will remain on display for the month following the opening Artwalk event with the galleries being open to visitors Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
