Step through the gates of the WV Renaissance Festival to be whisked back in time. Make your way along the “cobble-stone” streets of a bustling, 16th-century English village replete with jousting knights, noblemen, fair maidens, craftspeople, fairies, savory food and drinks, including West Virginia local brews, vendors and entertainers of every kind.
Want to get creative? Fairgoers are encouraged to wear their most creative costume reflecting the theme of the weekend.

TIP: This is an outdoor festival with walking involved if you want to experience many of the attractions. Be prepared with sunscreen, bug repellent and reliable footwear. Parasols are encouraged as protection from the sun. Activities such as knife throwing, archery, face painting and animal rides are an additional cost. Performers and musicians appreciate monetary gestures of your enjoyment (tips).
