Greenbrier Valley Theatre is proud to present “To Kill a Mockingbird” based on the novel by Harper Lee and adapted for the stage by Christopher Sergel.
An older Scout Finch tells the story of her childhood in the Depression-era south. Scout’s moral code is shaped as she and her brother Jem watch their father battle racism and bigotry to save an innocent man. Meanwhile, her childlike curiosity leads her closer to understanding the mystery hidden right next door.
A Southern-Gothic classic first published in 1960 which gives an insightful peek into southern race relations during the depression.
