WV Dandelion Festival

May 26th - 28th 2017

Downtown White Sulphur Springs welcomes the beginning of summer by honoring the ubiquitous dandelion. Enjoy a weekend of events and activities -- parade, children’s play area, arts & crafts, 5K and fireworks.

Here are just a few highlights of the many events that will be going on throughout the weekend:

Friday, May 26

6-8pm – Art Show and Wine & Cheese Reception – WSS Public Library

7-11pm – Cruise In with DJ Dave throughout downtown


Saturday, May 27

8am – Fishing Derby – National Fish Hatchery

8:30am – CASA/Superhero 5k – WSS Elementary School Parking Lot

1-5pm – WVU Mountaineer Mascot Troy Clements Meet & Greet throughout downtown

Live Music throughout the day in Midland Trail Park and Old Mill Park including Ari Vaughan, Richard Hefner and the Black Mountain Bluegrass Boys and Fallen Rock

10pm – Fireworks – Midland Trail Park


Sunday, May 27

2pm – Veterans Appreciation Memorial Service – Old White Motors parking lot

2-5pm – Disc Golf – Greenbrier State Forest

3pm – Gospel Sing – Midland Trail Park

5pm – Parade (lineup at 4pm on Ingleside Ave) – Throughout town on Main Street
