Romantic Getaways

The Greenbrier Valley is where romance comes to life. From the beauty and luxury of The Greenbrier, an historic destination of royalty, celebrities and business leaders, to more cozy and quaint accommodations, our romantic getaways are packed with activities and adventures fit for two.

The Greenbrier

A little romantic. A lot luxurious. The Greenbrier, recently named one of the "Most Romantic Date Destinations in America" by Redbook Magazine, is the perfect escape for couples wanting to relax and spend quality time together.

Even before arriving to the storybook elegance of the grounds surrounding the historic resort, the natural majestic beauty of West Virginia will set the mood with stunning views of the breathtaking Allegheny Mountains. Be sure to make time to stop at one of the many access points along the Greenbrier River to soak it all in, take a selfie or enjoy a lingering lunch for two.

Once you arrive to the iconic entrance of The Greenbrier, the stage is officially set for romance. From the large white columns, reminiscent of the White House, to the manicured grounds and incredibly accommodating staff, you'll quickly realized you've come to a very special. Couples become engaged and later are married at The Greenbrier. Then before they know it, their daughter or son is marrying their sweetheart in the same place where it all began.

No matter how you spend your weekend at The Greenbrier — enjoying luxurious accommodation, being pampered at the spa or exploring downtown Lewisburg — you'll leave feeling refreshed, relaxed and in love.
