Description

The Swift Level Log Cabin is an 1820’s two-story log cabin with 2 bedrooms (1 with king and a loft with 2 twins), 1 bath with shower, kitchen, roomy living room with original stone fireplace (and firewood) and an enclosed sun porch.

The cabin affords stunning views of the valley, pasture land, grazing horses, cattle, morning mist rising from the creek to the setting sun over Muddy Creek Mountain. It is a short walk to Mulligans Creek on a wooded and pasture trail.

Swift Level is a working farm with animals, hounds and wildlife and is surrounded by nature and weather. Guests may hear coyote and hounds at night, horses moving and speaking in the quiet of the dark, or just the quiet and peaceful surroundings. 

The cabin is well appointed with leather chairs, tribal rugs, 500 count cotton sheets, all cotton towels and is cleaned with the environment and human health in mind. This vacation rental includes full kitchen (refrigerator, electric range, toaster oven, coffee maker and all dishes, pots, pans, dish liquid, bed and bath linens (beds made), toilet paper, fans etc. Guests need only to bring their personal needs and food. Parking is available at the cabin in dry weather, otherwise it is a short walk from the parking area. Daily cleaning is available at an additional charge.  The cabin can be stocked with groceries and beverage if arriving late or for those just wanting to come and enjoy some real time away from the hustle of life.

Available with a two night minimum.

Please note that the cabin does not have AC, phone, TV, sound system or internet connection.

The cabin is a short drive (3 miles) to historic Lewisburg, full of quaint galleries, restaurants, live theatre, groceries, good wines and very good local foods. Swift Level offers exceptional regional foods with a commitment to only local food. Inquire about Swift Level Locale.

Rates are $325 per night. 50% non-refundable deposit, applicable to future stay if cancellation necessary.
