Greenbrier County CVB Debuts Brag Bag
Lewisburg, WV (November 13, 2009) – Brag bags are now available at the Greenbrier County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB).
“We know that word-of-mouth is one of the most effective means of getting the word out about a destination. That’s why we’re asking friends to help us brag about the Greenbrier Valley,” said Kara Dense, Executive Director of the CVB. “We’re asking you to provide the name, and we’ll provide the information and postage to get it there. Let’s spread the word about our hidden gem that is the Greenbrier Valley!”
Brag bags will contain fact sheets, calendar of events, accolades information, a Visitors Guide and a Greenbrier Valley magnet. Braggers are asked to provide the name and address of a friend or family member living outside the Greenbrier Valley as well as their name (to be used as the referral). (Names will not be added to any CVB mailing list.) Contact information may be submitted by emailing .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or by calling 800-833-2068.
For more than 25 years, Roper research has tracked the effectiveness of word-of-mouth advertising. Its findings show the majority of people rely more than ever on friends and family, rather than advertising or editorial, to decide which restaurants to try, places to visit, hotels to stay in and videos to rent.
