Discover Ghosts, Outdoor Drama and Music this September in Greenbrier County

LEWISBURG, W.Va. (September 4, 2007) Summer is almost over and along with the cool weather comes an exciting line-up of activities to enjoy in Greenbrier County this September.

Get ready to explore the mysterious side of Greenbrier County when the Ghost Tours of Lewisburg returns for another season on weekends, September through October.  For tour information or reservations, call 304-256-TOUR.

The creator of “The Riders of the Flood,” is back with a new drama, “Big Dreams…Restless Spirit.” Performed at the Island River Park Amphitheater in Ronceverte on September 6-8 and September 13-15, this tale of suspense, romance and humor is written by local artist, Robert Tuckwiller.  Revolving around the challenges and changes that struck West Virginia after the logging boom, this performance is something you will not want to miss.  For tickets, call 304-645-2070 or 304-647-4500.

If you enjoy great bluegrass music, kick off Carnegie Hall’s 2007 Main Stage Series with Seldom Scene on Saturday, September 14. On Saturday, September 29 make plans to attend the Freshwater Folk Festival taking place on the grounds of the National Fish Hatchery in White Sulphur Springs.  Beginning at 10:00am until 5:00pm, this free event will feature musical performances by Carpenter Ants, Evolver, Packway Handle and Kike, Miguel and Steve.
