Day One

Afternoon - Arrive in Lewisburg, named one of the 1,000 Places to See in USA and Canada Before You Die by author Patricia Schultz in 2007, and check into one of the city’s fine hotels.

Early Evening - Enjoy a live theatrical performance at Greenbrier Valley Theatre, West Virginia’s Official Year-Round Professional Theatre. 

Evening - Enjoy dinner at Blackwell’s Restaurant set upon the beautiful greens of the Elk’s Club golf course. 

Day Two

Morning - Breakfast at your selected hotel.

Mid Morning - Head to White Sulphur Springs and step back in time as you take a tour of the Cold War bunker at America’s Resort, The Greenbrier.

Lunch - Enjoy lunch at The Greenbrier’s Sam Snead’s at the Golf Club.  Overlooking the resort’s three championship golf course, this casual dining restaurant features an open kitchen and a wood-burning oven.

Afternoon - Return to Lewisburg and visit the North House Museum, featuring historic artifacts from around Greenbrier County, as well as special exhibits that in the past have included the History of Chocolate, Historic Wedding Dresses and Historic Teddy Bears.  Guides from the North House will also provide groups with a tour of private historic homes while exploring the town’s 235-acre historic district followed by refreshments in the museum’s parlor. 

Dinner - Sample one of the region’s favorite restaurants Food & Friends featured on the Food Network’s “Best Of…” series in 2004.

Day Three

Morning -Take in the unique history and the magnificent scenery of Greenbrier County during at two-hour tour with one of the area’s trained step-on guides.

Afternoon - Spend the afternoon on your own in Historic Downtown Lewisburg, home to 40+ antique shops, specialty boutiques, art galleries and restaurants.

Dinner - Experience contemporary American cuisine served in a restored log building at downtown Lewisburg’s Tavern 1785.

Evening - Enjoy a live theatrical performance at Greenbrier Valley Theatre, West Virginia’s Official Year-Round Professional Theater. 

Day Four

Morning - Breakfast at your selected hotel.

Late Morning - Lewisburg’s Carnegie Hall, one of only four still in operation, offers groups a variety of hands on art classes.  Contact the CVB to learn more about the different offerings that are available.

Lunch - Soak up the local atmosphere and some sunshine on the lawn of Carnegie Hall while enjoying a brown bag lunch provided by The Bakery, known for its delectable sandwiches, pizzas and desserts.
Afternoon - Greenbrier County is fortunate to have a wide array of artists in residence throughout the Valley, and upon arrangement the CVB can schedule behind the scenes tours of their studios for you and your group. Tour groups will be invited into the home studios of members of the Greenbrier Artists, a group with more than 60 members that has been in existence for 35 years.

Dinner - Feast at the General Lewis Inn, which was also featured on the food Network’s “Best of…” series in 2004.

Evening - Attend a performance at Carnegie Hall, known for great live musical performances ranging from classical, jazz, folk and bluegrass.

Day Five

Breakfast at the hotel before departing for home.
