In partnership with The MET: Live in HD opera series, Greenbrier Valley Theatre is pleased to present The MET: Live in HD. Experience opera in stunning detail with some of today's premier vocalists and conductors, live from NYC.

Broadcasts will run approximately 2-3 hours with one intermission. A complimentary lecture by Dr. James Caplinger from the University of Charleston will start at 12:15 p.m.

Tickets for the simulcast are $18 for adults, $14 for seniors and $10 for children. Season tickets are also available.

On February 25, 2017, at 12:55pm, Greenbrier Valley Theatre in partnership with The Met: Live in HD will present Antonin Dvorak's romantic tale of tragic love- Rusalka

Kristine Opolais stars as the title role in this dark tale, alongside Jaime Barton as the witch Jezibaba and Brandon Jovanovich as Rusalka's beloved Prince.  Rusalka's father is portrayed by Eric Owens and Katarina Dalayman returns to The Met as the Foreign Princess.  Rusalka is conducted by Sir Mark Elder, who conducted Madama Butterfly, Tannhauser and many others at The Met.
