Greenbrier Classic

The Greenbrier Classic

The Greenbrier Classic is expected to take place July 25 - 31, 2011* at The Greenbrier. This PGA TOUR, FedExCup season-long points competition will bring together golf’s top players for an historic tournament to be played at America’s Resort.

The tournament will be held on The Old White Course, The Greenbrier’s original of four golf courses, dating back to 1914. Measuring nearly 7,031 yards and playing to par 70, The Old White Course originally was designed by Charles Blair Macdonald and most recently underwent an extensive renovation by Lester George to return it to its original design, reopening in 2006.

In addition to the tournament, ticket holders will be able to attend concerts by country music artists. These private concerts will be for Greenbrier Classic attendees and participants only. The concerts will be held at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds in Fairlea. Access to the concerts is included with the purchase of a weekly badge.

General parking for the tournament will be available at the West Virginia State Fairgrounds in Fairlea. Complimentary shuttle service to and from The Greenbrier Classic will be provided via official tournament shuttles. No drop off or walk up traffic is permitted at the tournament.

The first 5,000 Grounds badges sold will be automatically upgraded to Benefactor badges and the first 2,000 Benefactor badges purchased will be elevated to Alumni badge status.

*The exact dates will be released by the PGA TOUR later this year.
