Greenbrier County Convention & Visitors Bureau

The CVB’s mission, simply stated, is to “strive each day to positively impact the area’s economy. We do this by marketing the region as a premier tourist destination.”

Now in its eighth year of operation, the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau was formally created in September of 2000 and organized in January of 2001. Since that time the CVB has continued to grow as an organization, earning national recognition including being named the CVB of the Year by the Southeast Tourism Society in 2007.

The CVB staff, along with a dedicated Board of Directors comprised of tourism professionals and county and city officials, has done an admirable job of fulfilling the mission of the CVB. Our region is now the second most visited region in the state with 1.3 million visitors annually and an economic impact of more than $223 million.
